So You're Here; Now What?

Okay! Welcome to HubPages.

If you're not necessarily new, or just not new at all...greetings!

What is this HubPages idea all about? What is it good for. ... Affiliate Marketing can feel like a scam, why? Why should aspiring writers leap toward niche-writing and content-writing initiatives? All this and more.

There is so much you can do with a HubPages.com Hub article. They are versatile and integral in many ways. We will discuss how HubPages can benefit the aspiring writer as well as the aspiring entrepreneur with financial ultimatums and/or desires.

How can a HubPage help me as a writer?

In so many ways!

As a Hubber you're joining an interesting, diverse, and eclectic community who are just as ambitious are you. Positioning you directly over a consumer demographic, almost immediately.

You will have the chance to test your skills as a writer in many ways. If you're a creative artist, you can post your material or samples of your material on HubPages.com and give links to the whole book or the rest of the story thorough the Amazon or eBay affiliate programs. All you need to do is have your products set up and for sale on either of the two online marketing platforms. After that, copy and paste the links from your specific and original personal products into the boxes when you go to choose specific products for sale during the deployment of your Amazon or eBay advertisements. Now you're in business for yourself as a creative writer!

Step back for a moment though. You can't just throw your work in the face of the public and expect them to eat it up. Not unless you know they will eat it up. That is why HubPages is a great platform for affiliate marketing because it allows you to be an individual and gain integrity before trying to network your business resources. Whether they be the ability to reference good material and catching advertisements for random "niche" content. Or actually trying to market your skills as a professions. HubPages is an amazing resource for the up and coming writer.

But you don't have to be a professional writer to be a brilliant marketer.

How can HubPages assist the aspiring entrepreneur?

Still, in so many ways!

If you're an educated professional with tangible, real world business skills that can be applied through the transfer or suggestion of information - online or otherwise...I suggest you start tapping into your potential.

All you need is a little writing etiquette to get your point across and brilliant advertisements to captivate your readers. It's not always about the writing, especially to the business professional. Especially if they don't want to be professional marketeers' and they have a real skills to sell of their own; and they are not professional writers.

This includes people who do graphic design or transcriptions, informational specialists and computer savvy individuals. There is a fortune to be made in private networking of professional skills. Commercial or otherwise. HubPages offers a formidable venue for professionals of any stay-at-home vocation. If you can ship it out, send it digitally, have it delivered by your own car, get it privately escorted or sell it from an online marketplace; HubPages can give you resources.

You can write Hubs about your services. The history of your education and what it means to you, you can build integrity and respect among fellow peers and eventually redirect that into marketing and business initiatives. It's important to use the analysis features of all your affiliate marketing programs to understand where your traffic comes from, where the next wave might show up, and how you could go about catching that wave.

You can see declines in popularity of Hubs which means you're doing something wrong. Presentation is off. Reassess and re-implement. Once you start seeing a good trend, go with it. Don't be afraid to expand, true progress doesn't leave people behind.

Once you've developed an understanding with all of these elements you can then wield them properly. The entire process is just that - a process. It's a job. And if you intend on making it your full-time job you will have to spend a lot of time setting that goal up for success in the long-run. Even if you see immediate success with your business venture, normally its just a phase. People were enamored but now they are disenchanted. You have to appeal to the tastes of the consumer market and market your skills and ideals accordingly.

Hope this has been helpful!

The Most Rewarding Concept I've Learned:

It's simple: Don't begin to establish serious marketing directives until you've achieved a following. Once you get a large number of people you can analyze them and provide content to them. Befriending people is key in spreading your content and aspiring to be more here at HubPages.com

Be tactful. You have to orchestrate this whole program, it's all up to you. It's a free-enterprise though. So put out information that isn't offensive and intrigues people. Be educated and strategic; not to serve yourself, but to serve your guest - the reader. You may revere your thoughts as sacred but once they enter public domain who is to say what torment they are subject to. Bias and fascism: bigotry...this could become a list. Don't put yourself on a pedestal. Serve the community and they will support you if only for the sole fact that you are integral. There is a symbiotic relationship between the attitude of the individual and the realities of their charisma and prevalent modus operandi.

Seek to do better, to be better, desire better; but never lose humility and respect for the complexities of humanity. Portray excellence and you will redeem excellence.

So, in essence you simply have to produce fool-proof plans. Plans that people would acknowledge if they had more money or perhaps more time to consider such things. The good news is that you are the promoter and if you encourage the public enough, they will take inquisition of you directives - even if it's provoked.

The key is the method of evocation that you employ in your Program. A concept I've discussed in a couple Hubs. How you decide to follow through with your ambitions. There is etiquette involved and for those who are polite and useful, unfathomable success is within reach.

I've got a bunch of books on writing that I bought before setting out on this road. Maybe I should do a hub on writing, since putting out RAVENFEAST(to think it all started with writing pieces in the NERA EXPRESS about railways in Yorkshire)! I didn't start by working out markets, though. What I did was write about what I know more about - notice I didn't see 'all'. I think if people think you enjoy your writing, they're more likely to enjoy reading them.
